El Perro Del Mar

Last night I popped out to Sonic Boom on 15th, to watch El Perro Del Mar (myspace) do an in store. It was a short set - 4 or 5 songs, but excellent. Just her and her guitar - she has a truly amazing amazing voice. And the store as a venue is surprisingly cool in the small, intimate way. It had a daylight crowd including some kids and what not which was actually a good thing.

This is why I love living in a city.
