Ski Weekend

Last Thursday Liam came out for a ski weekend and we all piled into the Audi and headed up to Pagosa Springs. We spent Friday and Saturday skiing at Wolf Creek, and recovering at the hot springs by our hotel, the Springs Resort.

Unfortunately Rachel was feeling under the weather, and spent only a half day skiing and all the rest of of the time recovering. The recovering was frankly was quite pleasant -- I hadn't expected to enjoy the springs so much. Of course she was feeling substantially worse than I, and I think she got a little tired of the sulfur smell by the end of the weekend.

Liam and I spent a good bit of time riding the Alberta lift, (map). And had a LOT of fun the second day running up and down abracadabra (?) and the waterfall area.

On the whole a great little break. I'm already looking forward to next year :)
