The world outside my window

I spend an extraordinary amount of time in my office, at my desk. One of the best perks is the very large window, overlooking the street. And this is particularly cool, as it is a busy enough street, that everything and every one walks by.

Today it was a man out for his Sunday morning run with his 8 year old boy chasing him down the street on a scooter.

Yesterday an elderly woman walking home from the grocery store. There are movers, plumbers, delivery guys, and bicyclists, joggers, people with tennis rackets, people with basket balls...

The world goes by my window.

Chile!

I decided that I wanted breakfast burritos. This requires chile, unfortunately this is not the best place to get chile. Still I managed to buy 5 or 6 poblanos eliminating QFCs selection. I fired roasted them on the range and now the place smells intensely of chile. Tomorrow we will see what how the burritos turn out, but I must say that have a place that smells of chile is simply not all bad.

Water

The plumbers showed today. They switched over the water mains for the building and left at noon. They also left me with real water pressure in kitchen! Yippee!
