First Post!

So this is my new blog. I intend to keep it mainly to things I care about, less on things I do. So there will be a bit of politics, a bit of economics, and a bit of programming, with maybe some food blogging thrown in. I'll probably slip in a bit about my life, but seeing as in my employer didn't sign up for a blogger, I'll be pretty serious about the no work rule.

Mainly this is a place for me to rant about the things that need ranting on, note the cool stuff I've seen, and basically keep a record of all this stuff, so that I can find it when I need it.
